Director General, Accredia

Director General of Accredia since 2009, Filippo Trifiletti has served as Director General of Sincert. Alongside Sinal, Sit, and the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, he led the unification of the Italian accreditation system, giving rise to Accredia, the Italian National Accreditation Body recognized by the Government. He represents the point of contact of Accredia with the relevant international accreditation institutions, including IAF (International Accreditation Forum), ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation), and EA (European Co-operation for Accreditation), where he has been a member of the Horizontal Harmonization and Financial Oversight committees. Prior to his role at Accredia, he worked at Confagricoltura, where he joined after earning his degree in Political Sciences and specializing in European Affairs. Among his various responsibilities, he served as the head of the Presidential and General Management Secretariat and from 1996 he led the Environment and Quality Department, representing the point of contact for all quality-related policies.
