Full professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome.

Ivan Visconti is a full professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome. His research interests focus on modern cryptography and, more specifically, on data protection through zero-knowledge proofs, post-quantum cryptography, decentralized systems, blockchain technology, homomorphic encryption and privacy-enhancing cryptography.

For over 20 years, he has contributed to the design of cryptographic systems using post-quantum secure algorithms and has published his results in the proceedings of the prestigious conferences organized by the International Association for Cryptologic Research, also serving in their program committees. Currently, he is teaching Advanced Cryptography and Secure Computation for the master’s degrees in “Computer Engineering in Computer Science”, and in “Cybersecurity“ at Sapienza University of Rome.
