Igli Tafa, since October 2022, holds the position of General Director of the National Cyber Security Authority, guaranteeing secure electronic transactions in the internal market, identifying and controlling critical and important Information Infrastructures, as well as determines cyber security measures for them, in terms of exercising the Authority’s activity.
From 2003 to 2021, he held the position of Lecturer for the following modules: Operating Systems; Advanced Computer Network; Computer Architecture; Information Security Management, Advanced Programming, Java Programming, C-Language.
He has a long experience of 20 years, as a certified Expert on cyber security, such as Auditing Information Systems Management ISO 20001, ISO 9001, Security Information issues ISO27001/27701/Penetration Testing and Forensics, Data Center Management and Implementation, and Network Troubleshooting and Deep knowledge in MPLS routing challenges and instructor of a lot of training. Expert in SPLUNK SIEM and XDR Cortex, Cyber Security Analyst, Threat Hunter, Anti-Malware Analyst, Cyber Security Risk Analyst.
Graduated as Computer Engineering, he continued his studies in deepening his knowledge in the field of cyber security and holds the title of Associate Professor Attestation.
Igli has excellent managerial and organizational skills acquired during her experience as a lecturer and cyber security expert. He has an ability to make quick decisions and high operational performance. With almost 20 years of experience in the field of cyber security, he possesses excellent professional-technical knowledge.
