Manager in charge of digital transformation processes and application development at MIT and Contact for the NIS Authority – Transport Sector of the Ministry
Giorgio Agrifoglio, computer engineer, obtained a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Engineering & Data Science at MIU University in Miami.
In addition to specific technical certifications and qualifications, he has also completed several University Master’s programs and Advanced Training courses related to the Public Administration sector.
He has gained significant experience in technical consulting provided to Courts and Prosecutors regarding the analysis and certification of IT systems, as well as the technical-administrative processes underlying their implementation.
Author of several articles, he is also a lecturer in cybersecurity and a scholar on topics related to IT security and data management.
His career in the Public Administration sector began in 2017 for Sicily Region with the analysis of projects and development of information systems for managing the ESF Operational Programs 2007-2013 and 2014-2020, alongside the role of Data Protection Officer for the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Since 2020, he has been working at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport as a Second-Level Executive, where he oversees digital transformation processes and the development of applications. He is also the Contact for the NIS Authority – Transport Sector of the Ministry.
