Solutions Engineering Manager, SonicWall

Paolo Melchiori currently holds the position of Solutions Engineering Manager for SonicWall, a U.S.-based company that has been involved in information security for more than 30 years and has a presence in more than 200 countries worldwide. Specifically, he is responsible for coordinating the technical pre-sales resources of the Southern European countries, providing support to the various partners regarding the adoption and optimal configuration of SonicWall solutions.

Previously he held, within the same company, the role of Solution Engineer for Northern Italy, where he managed to gain extensive and direct field experience in working with partners, creating diversified projects, analyzing customer needs and ICT infrastructure risks in the various business sectors.

He worked for years as a technician and later as a technical manager at a system integrator, focusing on both networking and cybersecurity.

These experiences in the field have enriched his knowledge base, giving him a thorough understanding of the needs of the industry, the challenges to achieve, and the dangers to protect against.

In his current role as a manager, he not only provides support to colleagues, but also actively participates in cybersecurity events and initiatives; he also works to facilitate partners’ approach to SonicWall product technology by organizing webinars, POCs, and informational workshops.
