Full Professor of Computer Engineering, University of Genoa

Fabio Roli is Full Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Genoa and Cagliari, IEEE Fellow and IAPR Fellow. He did research on artificial intelligence and cyber security for more than twenty years. He is the Director of the PRA Lab research laboratory of the University of Cagliari on technologies and applications of artificial intelligence for the security of people and computers.

He has coordinated dozens of research and development projects on artificial intelligence and cyber security, including the leading European projects CyberRoad and ILLBuster. He was a member of the NATO advisory panel for Information and Communications Security, NATO Science for Peace and Security. He is part of the Stanford University’s list of the most cited researchers in the world.
