Marco Molinaro has a 20-year experience in the world of information and digital security, with a deep specialization in the field of logic security and industrial control systems.
He has been working at Accenture since 2007, and in recent years has held several senior roles for Italy, Central and Eastern Europe and Greece in the domains of cybersecurity applied to different industry sectors, mostly financial services, energy, public administration and public utilities. Previously, he led the development of offerings on emerging digital identity and trust services, directing transformation programs in Italy, Greece, Turkey, Eastern Europe, Russia and the Middle East.
Marco Molinaro has been helping corporate clients become more cyber security aware and safeguard their digital business.
Molinaro reports to Jacky Fox, Accenture’s head of Security in Europe, and joins the Global Security Leadership Team led by the Italian Paolo Dal Cin. The manager is also part of the Accenture Italy leadership team governed by CEO Mauro Macchi.
Molinaro holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” a master’s degree in information security management and a specialization in quantum computing from MIT. He collaborates with several universities as a lecturer in master’s programs for higher education. He holds several certifications on program management, project management, ICT services and on international standards, industry processes and cutting-edge technologies for cybersecurity. He is married, lives in Rome and is an enthusiast practitioner of track motorcycling and skiing.
