Massimiliano Sala, PhD in Mathematics, was a researcher at University College Cork. He has been a professor in Trento since 2007, currently full professor and director of the Cryptography Laboratory, where he supervises theses and projects. He scientifically coordinates the Quadrans Foundation and he is President of the national cryptographic association “De Componendis Cifris”.
