Elisa Romano graduated in 2000 in Law at the University of Bologna with a thesis in Commercial Law. Subsequently, she has attended the master’s degree for Business Lawyers of SPISA and passed the state exam for the admission to the Bar Association. She has attended CIRFID master in personal data protection. Elisa has obtained the BSI certification for ISO/IEC 27001:2013 as Lead Implementer and as Internal Auditor. She has attended the master in Cyber Security Management of Bologna Business School as well as the course for obtaining the CISP certification.
After an experience in international Law Firms such as D’Urso Munari Gatti and Gianni Origoni, Elisa joined Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. in 2007 as in-house legal counsel and then in 2012 Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., with responsibility for data protection issues, I.P. and I.T. regulations. She has held the role of DPO since 2018 and the one of CISO since 2020. Within her scope of competences, she is focused on the correct management at a global level of corporate information and personal data in the protection of cyber risks, in order to comply with international legislations, including the ones on car cyber security.
