Claudio Paganelli has more than twenty years of experience in IT Governance and Cybersecurity. 

Currently working as a Director of the “Cybersecurity and Privacy” Horizontal in Intellera Consulting, he deals with activities related to Incident Management & Response, Risk Management, Information Security Strategy and Business Continuity and is responsible for service contracts in the Cybersecurity & Privacy field.  He began his career at IBM in 1995, leading a team of developers in Italy and following the strategies of the Tech Lab in Rochester. Four years after, he took on a management role within the company in the Systems Test department. In the following years, particularly since 2003, he joined “Datakey” agency and his entrance marked a turning point for the company, as he succeeded in changing the software production model from a traditional approach based on internal effort to a fully outsourced process with a worldwide network of 20 developers from India and Eastern Europe.  

His debut in the field of cybersecurity and IT governance took place in 2008, when he joined Metaenergia SpA. Until 2020, in fact, he worked as CIO & CISO for the company, until he became CEO of a very young company, Galaxya Consulting, in which he held this leading role from 2020 to 2021, working to support clients in solving issues related to IT Governance and Cyber Security, dealing in particular with strategy, implementation and governance. Since 2017 and nowadays, he is part of of the Conseil de coopération Economique of the European Commission as a Member of the Task Force on digitalisation and cybersecurity in the energy sector.
