Cybersecurity Director, Barilla Group

Alberto graduated in Telecommunications Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2005, where he briefly worked as a researcher.

In 2006, he joined Barilla in the IT Infrastructure team, and later as Project Manager for Web & Digital activities.

From 2008 to 2014, as IT Business Process Support Manager, he was responsible for the implementation of several IT platforms for Supply Chain, Sales, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Purchasing. 

In 2015, Alberto took over the role of Region Italy IT Business Partner and worked also on Innovation streams.

As a “Selected Reserve” commissioned officer at Carabinieri Corps, from 2017 he gave his professional contribution in digitalization to the ICT Department at Rome General Headquarters.

Back to Barilla in 2019, he was responsible to establish the Plants Cybersecurity practice.

Since 2020, Alberto is Cybersecurity Director of Barilla Group, leading an international team dedicated to IT and OT security at global level.
